Gagarin Aircraft Plant delivers new Su-57 and Su-35S fighters to Russian army

The Gagarin Aviation Plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur delivered the fifth-generation Su-57 and generation 4++ Su-35S fighters to the Russian military, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said on September 28.

The military received another delivery of the most modern aircraft from the industry. It was carried out within the framework of the state defense order. By the end of 2023, another line of combat aircraft will be delivered to the troops.

Yury Slyusar, CEO of the United Aircraft Corporation, which owns the Gagarin plant, said that the aircraft of this turn are already at the flight test stage.

Manturov noted the work of the coordination council under the Russian government, which deals with the supply of reliable and modern equipment to the army.
